CVB Meeting

We are members of the Charleston Visitors Bureau and catered the meeting for the month of October. The meeting was held at the Boone Hall Cotton Dock in Mount Pleasant. The meeting was an opportunity for us to showcase our catering abilities and network with all of the attendees of the event. This was our first time catering at the Cotton Dock and it is such a beautiful venue for events and weddings.

Lee Wedding 10/4/14

We had the privilege of catering Ashleigh Nagel & David Lee's rehearsal dinner & wedding. Their rehearsal dinner was at Goldbug Island and their wedding was at a private residence on Hobcaw Creek. Both nights went off without a hitch. The couple had an oyster roast for their rehearsal dinner and Goldbug is the perfect place for it! Their venue is extremely accommodating and you are able to recycle your oysters onsite.

Their reception the following night was at the private home of a family friend. The house was gorgeous and sits back off of Hobcaw Creek. It was a bit windy that day, but we adapted and made it work with a few modifications! They had a simple ceremony with many friends and family. Their menu that night included Mini Crab Cakes, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Ham Biscuits, Pulled Pork BBQ, late night passed Mini Burger Sliders, just to name a few items. Elizabeth Morgan coordinated for the couple and the entire evening went smoothly.

September 26th - September 28th

What an eventful weekend it was! On Friday & Saturday night we catered for a Sunday School Class that has been together for over 30 years. They meet together once a year and do a retreat to spend time together and learn from a Guest Speaker. This year they met at the Homewood Suites in Mount Pleasant on Friday night and at a private residence on Saturday night. We were able to cater both nights for the group.

On Sunday we were able to be a part of the Jerry Zucker Ride for Hope. Their mission is to raise money to help local Charleston charities. The charities can then get the money to those that need it most. We provided the lunch after the ride for the participants and the volunteers that help set up the event. It was a beautiful afternoon out at Awendaw Green.
